Astroglaze Rooflights

Astroglaze glass rooflights are designed to provide high levels of natural daylight with excellent aesthetics, high insulation values and simple on-site installation. All units feature sealed double glazed units contained within a thermally enhanced aluminium frame which is available in Anthracite grey as standard. We can also offer bespoke RAL colours just ask us for details.

They are designed to sit over builders timber kerbs and can be made to order to custom sizes in either single piece units or large multi-section units.

The standard glazing is a double glazed toughened laminated panel which offers low U values and perfect clarity. Other glazing options are available, including solar control glass, tinted glass and fully sandblasted glass and Ritec easy clean coatings. The Astroglaze Walk-On glass rooflight is the perfect solution for roof terraces, or similar roofing areas where there are likely to be pedestrians. The rooflight has been specifically designed for strength while still providing high levels of natural daylight.

Astroglaze Details

Astroglaze Access Hatch rooflights are designed with security in mind. They come with a lockable handle (similar to those on double glazed windows) which can only be secured from the inside.

The perfect way to control ventilation in a space and is particularly well-suited for kitchens and areas with high humidity levels. The manual unit is operated with a spindle and comes with a portable winding rod whereas the electric option is supplied with a switch and can be operated with the flick of a switch. The electric option also has options operation via a remote control and rain sensor if required.

Flat glass smoke vents/AOVs are designed to reduce smoke build-up, helping to provide a safer escape route for occupants and access for fire- fighting personnel. In partnership with leading specialists in control systems, we provide a complete package of smoke ventilation options.

The largest stock size is 1000 x 3000mm but we can supply larger bespoke units.

Do Astroglaze rooflights come with a supplied upstand?

No, our Astroglaze range of glass rooflights is designed to suit a builders timber kerb which needs to be constructed on site. Standard drawings are provided to help with the kerb construction.
