System 1

Skydome System 1 Rooflight Skydome System1 is a circular shape (on plan) domed rooflight comprising of either single or double skinned polycarbonate glazing.

It is fixed directly to an upstand using fixings drilled through the dome flange. Trickle ventilation is the only ventilation option available in this system, unless the vent is located in the builder\'s upstand. The glazing options are clear or diffused polycarbonate as standard. (If double skinned both skins are polycarbonate.)
 

System 2

Skydome System 2 is a square or rectangular shape (on plan) domed rooflight comprising of either single or double skinned polycarbonate glazing. It is designed to be fixed onto a flat top kerb or upstand and is fixed directly to the kerb using fixings drilled through the dome flange. Trickle ventilation is an option with this dome. The glazing options are clear or diffused polycarbonate as standard. (If double skinned both skins are polycarbonate.)
 

System 3

Skydome System 3 Rooflight Skydome System 3 is a square or rectangular shape (on plan) domed rooflight comprising of either single or double skinned polycarbonate glazing.
Skydome System 3 is a square or rectangular shape (on plan) domed rooflight comprising of either single or double skinned polycarbonate glazing. It is designed to fix directly onto a sloped (30° pitch) kerb or ventilated upstand. It is fixed directly to the kerb using fixings through the dome flange.
 
Systems 1,2 & 3 glazed domes are all manufactured totally from U.V. protected polycarbonate
glazing sheets and come supplied with installation instructions, fixings and airseal tape.

System 4

Skydome System 4 Rooflight Skydome System 4 is a square or rectangular shape (on plan) domed rooflight complete with an aluminium upstand or kerb adaptor which can be either ventilated or non-ventilated. The upstands are fabricated from extruded aluminium and have an integral evaporation channel to catch condensation if it should form on the inside of the rooflight. Insulation to the upstand is an option and is recommended in most instances. The upstands are extruded to a minimum height of 160mm and set at a pitch of 20° to achieve maximum daylight aperture. When ventilation is required, slimline hit and miss vents can be incorporated into the upstand giving a minimum of 9000 square metres of ventilation.
Skydome System 4 is a square or rectangular shape (on plan) domed rooflight complete with an aluminium upstand or kerb adaptor which can be either ventilated or non-ventilated.

System 3000

Skydome System 3000 Rooflight Skydome 3000 rooflights have been designed with thermal efficiency being the main priority after natural light. The double skin polycarbonate dome is surrounded by an insulated aluminium frame, which reduces the cold bridge effect. The insulated aluminium frame allows for integral slimline vents to be located within the framework. EPDM sealing gasket secures the dome in place and reduces the risk of water ingress. Nylon cleats complete the construction to provide a thermal barrier against heat loss. The system 3000 standard upstand is fully insulated, 190mm high, complete with an optional external PVC coating bonded to the aluminium to allow easy application of single ply PVCu roofing membranes. All other exposed aluminium surfaces are painted with a white polyester finish. The 3000 system is also available with a total PVCu insulated upstand.

System 5000

Skydome System 5000 Rooflight Skydome 5000 rooflights are designed with maximum security in mind. They are constructed from high strength extruded aluminium and impact resistant polycarbonate but have the added advantage of being extremely thermally efficient. The glazing frame is designed to achieve maximum cover on the dome flange and eliminate all visible fixings.
Options include slimline vents, extruded kerb adaptors, security grills and upstands.

Smoke Vent

Skydome Smoke Vent Rooflight Skydome 5000 rooflights which are already designed with security features such as extruded aluminium and impact resistant polycarbonate, can be supplied with a fully tested Pyro Facility. This system is particularly suitable for stairwells, mat stores and secure areas.

When connected to the fire alarm system it will open automatically allowing effective smoke dispersal from the building.

  System 6000

Skydome System 6000 Rooflight The Skydome 6000 rooflight is a low-rise vault system constructed totally from U.V. protected polycarbonate, either single or double skin.
The Skydome 6000 rooflight is a low-rise vault system constructed totally from U.V. protected polycarbonate, either single or double skin. The system 6000 rooflight is normally fixed to a flat top builders upstand and is available in sizes from 600mm - 2400mm wide, by any length. All rooflights are factory tested to ensure their compliance with C.D.M regulations in relation to strength and safety. All post formed polycarbonate carries the original manufacturer's warranty.

System 7000

Skydome System 7000 Rooflight The Skydome 7000 rooflight has been developed to maximise overglazing of large span areas. Low rise or high rise units are manufactured to form vault shapes and can be constructed in single skin, double skin or triple skin polycarbonate depending on specification requirements. Vaults are formed via curved extruded aluminium glazing bars complete with thermal barriers. Each bar is individually located to hold the sheet securely in position while EPDM glazing gaskets eliminate the ingress of water. Units come complete with glazed gable ends and are available in sizes up to a non-supported maximum width span of 3000mm in standard format and 6000mm width in widespan format.

Polyester paint finish can be applied to all aluminium sections if required.
