Single Unit Dome Rooflights

Available from stock in a wide range of sizes, with bespoke sizes available on request.


• Low pitch flat roofs up to 15°

• Suitable for all roof coverings including EPDM, PVC, bitumen and GRP

Features and benefits:

• 600mm to 2400mm opening widths

• A variety of shapes and profile options

• Prefabricated products with interchangeable kerbs for simple installation

• Polycarbonate glazing options: clear, opal, bronze and diffused (glass can be specified as an alternative to polycarbonate)


Venting Dome Rooflights and AOVs

VELUX Commercial dome rooflights are available with comfort ventilation and smoke ventilation options.

Comfort ventilation options:

• Permanent rooflight ventilation – permanently open yet protected from the elements by the outer polycarbonate skin

• Manual rooflight ventilation – rota vents, manual hinged vents and hit and miss vents available

• Electrical rooflight ventilation – a power fan can be integrated to allow for mechanical opening

• Penthouse louvre ventilation – non-insulated ventilation units for natural ventilation in unheated spaces

Automatic opening vents (AOV)/electrically operated natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (NSHEV):

• Smoke vents that double up as natural light/comfort ventilation solutions

• Comply with BS EN 12101-2

• Standard and bespoke sizes available

• Variable kerb heights for quicker installation

• Thermally broken kerbs to reduce condensation risk

• Dual-colour options available  

Modular Rooflights

Glass rooflights that provide an elegant solution for maximising natural light, with the freedom to design configurations around individual specifications.

Features and benefits:

• Elegant, design: intrusive framing not visible from underneath

• Made to measure – bespoke sizes available

• Three variants available: Monolight, Linearlight and Circularlight

• Fixed and venting combinations

• Burglary resistance add-on

• Walk-on options available


Continuous Polycarbonate Rooflights

Ideal for larger roof expanses, offering a cost-effective option for commercial and industrial applications.

Features and benefits:

• Suitable for both flat and pitched roofs

• Available in widths of up to 11m

• Panels can be curved for a barrel vault effect

• Optimal light conditions created, with large expanses covered

• Excellent thermal efficiency

• Withstands harsh weather conditions

• Self-cleaning surfaces for lower maintenance

• Opening options for comfort ventilation and smoke ventilation


Access Hatches

Hinged rooflights for safe roof access, allowing for easy maintenance.

Features and benefits:

• Single leaf aluminium rooflights

• Suitable for flat roofs up to 15° and all flat roof coverings (including EPDM, PVC, bitumen and GRP)

• Available with opening widths between 750mm and 1200mm

• Completely prefabricated, with upstand for simple installation

• Fully insulated and thermally broken to retain heat and prevent condensation

• Integrated handrail available to increase safety during roof access


Venting and NSHEV Rooflights

Rooflights that can be set to open automatically depending on changing conditions within the building, in conjunction with a building management system.

Uses include:

• Smoke ventilation

• Comfort ventilation

• Heat control

NSHEV solutions are primarily used to improve safety. They can:

• Make escape routes more accessible

• Reduce the risk of accidents and injuries

• Reduce heat and smoke damage to a property
